FAIR

August 8th - The company I work for, Tractor Supply Company, sponsors the Williamson County Fair. Today was employee day at the fair so we decided to take Avery. We were a little disappointed in the rides because Avery was to little to ride them and we were to big to go on them with her, so the only ride she could go on was the carousel. When we first got on the ride she looked a little scared but as soon as it started she was really excited. She kept smiling and waving to the ride operator. After that we took her to "Little Farming" which is where kids learn how farms make food that feeds people and makes money. At the end she got to buy an ice cream sandwich with the money she earned being a "Little Farmer". We had a really good time but it was a hot day, in the low 90s. These pictures aren't in order but they show how much fun we had.

This was the only ride we could go on together. This is her second time riding it.

Avery bought an ice cream sandwich with her "Little Farmers" money.

Avery got to pick an apple from a tree and put it in her basket.

Avery and Daddy milked a cow to learn where milk comes from.

This picture is for Grandpa. They had a big John Deere tractor in the "Little Farmers" area. We just had to have our picture taken by it for Grandpa, though you can't tell it's a Deere.

Avery and Daddy entering the "Little Farmers" area. Avery got a smock and a basket to put all her goodies in.

This is Avery's first trip on the carousel. I think she really liked it.

Friday was Hawaiian luau day at fun place. Avery got a lei and some cool glasses so she put it all on so I could take a picture.
